Friday night I was reminded by a friend that Wacom tablets exist and that I should get one, so the next morning I went out to Best Buy and treated myself to an early birthday present, a BAMBOO Wacom tablet! I've been playing with it all weekend, but all I can seem to finish are hot dog doodles. This thing is excellent for gifs, so I hope to be making more in the future. Tablets definitely take some getting used to but they're super sweet!

Last night was such an amazing turn out! I couldn't have asked for a better first solo show opening! There was a great turn out, Sock Market and Elliott Sussman performed wonderfully! I sold some earrings, zines and buttons and got to share stories with others that appreciate my art and give kids balloons! Very, very nice. Thanks to all who came, performed, and made the night run smoothly, and especially the Mr. Roboto Project for hosting my art and this event during Unblurred. My art will be up all month! A little experimental on my part, I don't know if this is what I officially want to submit, but I still like them, and they're new, so why not. What an awesome experience! Thank you so much to all the friends, family and hundreds, maybe even thousands, of people who came out to support so many wonderful local artists and crafters! I'm still in awe of all the people that now own 'Jes Ha Ka' pieces, their lovely compliments, inquiries and children that love Adventure Time as much as I do! I hope I have the opportunity to do it next year and will be preparing for it more in advance than I did this year.

After the insanely long day, we celebrated by picking up some SPAK brothers seitan hoagies and FUNK NIGHT at Belevedere's, featuring sick jams, winter woodchucks and pool sharking. GREAT DAY. <3

Good news! I have my first solo show awaiting! Friday, December 2nd during Penn Ave's Unblurred monthly gallery crawl at the Mr. Roboto Project! I got to put in a couple cents on what musicians I might like and got the wonderful Elliott Sussman to play! It's going to be nice and light and good, save the date! Here's the facebook event link!

Back by popular demand, its 2010's GHOST SHARK as a zine! If I had the dough, I would've loved to get this printed in colour, or at least Ghost Shark's rainbow glow. The only issue was with the picnic image: the bears are too dark. The rest is solid, and i'm happy with how it came out.

Yesterday I had a day-long paint-a-thon where I managed to finish 6 plaques and 6 "SLIMEBALLZ" ornaments as well as get base coats on 2 bird houses and 2 cigar boxes. I can't believe it but i'm running out of stuffs to paint again! Bi-weekly Michael's trips are getting annoying but at least they always have coupons. I'm going to have so much crap at the arcade. Get ready.

Got a nice email this morning from Handmade Arcade saying that I was accepted as a vendor for their holiday spot. I'm so excited and overwhelmed! I have to make so much crap for this! Oh well, i'll be able to. I'm thankful though because i've had such a horrible creative block this past month or so and this is just the thing to get me going. SO I decided to revamp my business cards as well as create new buttons and introducing....MAGNETS! I've ordered 25 magnets of my 'DIAMOND MONSTER' piece. By the end of this month, but certainly/hopefully sooner, i'll be releasing my first zine called 'BABYMEAT'. Originally, 'BABYMEAT' was a single panel comic that I would release almost monthly, and hopefully, i'll retain my motivation on this one to produce more in the future!

My first Art All Night experience went well! Ended up getting several bids and selling this piece!

I've also recently started a sleeve that i'm going to have a lot of fun with. My skill level has definitely improved over the past year, and i'm excited to see what other awesome things I can tattoo.
